OnePlus Increases Prices of Popular Smartphones Again With Some Models Now Costing Much More Than Launch Price

OnePlus has raised prices of the OnePlus 15R, Nord 6 and Nord CE 6 in India again, with select models now costing significantly more than their original launch prices.

OnePlus has once again increased the prices of several of its popular smartphones in India, continuing a trend of frequent revisions over the past few months. The latest hike affects the OnePlus 15R, OnePlus Nord 6 and OnePlus Nord CE 6 lineup, with some variants becoming up to Rs 5000 more expensive than before. For buyers planning a new purchase, the revised pricing could have a significant impact.

The biggest increase has been seen in the OnePlus 15R. Compared with its original launch price, some variants of the smartphone are now up to Rs 12000 more expensive. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model, which was introduced at Rs 47999, is now priced at Rs 59999 after the latest revision. The 12GB and 512GB version has increased from Rs 59999 to Rs 64999, while the top end 16GB and 512GB model now costs Rs 66999 instead of Rs 61999.

The OnePlus 15R continues to target the premium smartphone segment with a 6.78 inch 1.5K AMOLED ProXDR display. It features a 50MP Sony primary camera, an 8MP ultra wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. A 16MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. The device is powered by a 6400mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging and runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. It also includes an in display fingerprint scanner and several AI powered features.

The OnePlus Nord 6 series has also become more expensive. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant has received a price increase of Rs 2000, moving from Rs 42999 to Rs 44999. The 12GB RAM and 256GB model has gone up by Rs 3000 and is now available for Rs 50999 instead of Rs 47999. Overall, the Nord 6 lineup is now priced up to Rs 6000 higher than its launch pricing.

Positioned in the mid range segment, the OnePlus Nord 6 comes with a 6.83 inch AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and high brightness. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and includes a 50MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultra wide sensor. A 16MP selfie camera, 6800mAh battery, 80W fast charging, 5G connectivity and Android 16 based OxygenOS complete the package.

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 has not been spared from the latest price revision. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version has increased from Rs 33999 to Rs 35999. Meanwhile, the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant has become Rs 3000 more expensive and is now priced at Rs 39999 instead of Rs 36999.

The Nord CE 6 offers a 6.77 inch Full HD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset. It includes a 50MP Sony primary camera, an 8MP ultra wide camera and a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone is equipped with a large 7100mAh battery, supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and runs OxygenOS based on Android 16.

The repeated price increases suggest that OnePlus is adjusting its pricing strategy across multiple product categories. Consumers considering any of these smartphones may want to compare the latest prices carefully before making a purchase, especially since several models now cost substantially more than when they were first introduced in the Indian market.
