Komaki Introduces Budget-Friendly Electric Scooters with Metal Body and 150 km Driving Range
Komaki has expanded its electric two-wheeler lineup with two affordable scooters featuring durable metal construction, long-range battery technology, and premium features usually found in more expensive models.
Komaki has strengthened its presence in India’s growing electric two-wheeler market by unveiling two new scooters, MG Pro V and MG Pro+. The company is targeting buyers who want reliable electric mobility without spending on premium-priced models.
Unlike many scooters in the same price segment that use fiber body panels, both new models feature a full metal body. The design is aimed at improving durability while offering better resistance to daily wear and tear.
The MG Pro V is priced from ₹73,999, while the MG Pro+ starts at ₹79,999. With their competitive pricing, the scooters are positioned as practical options for urban commuters looking for value and performance.
According to the company, the MG Pro V offers a claimed riding range of 90–100 km on a single charge. The higher-spec MG Pro+ can travel up to 150 km, making it suitable for riders with longer daily commutes.
Powering both scooters is a BLDC hub motor paired with a LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, a battery chemistry known for improved safety, longer lifespan, and lower maintenance compared to conventional battery options.
The scooters also come equipped with several convenience and safety features, including smartphone app connectivity for battery and range monitoring, front disc brakes, telescopic front suspension, anti-theft lock, parking assist, repair switch, and a comfortable riding platform. The MG Pro+ additionally offers a larger under-seat storage compartment.
Komaki says its goal is to make premium electric mobility more accessible by combining robust build quality, modern technology, and practical features at affordable prices, giving Indian consumers more choices in the rapidly expanding EV market.
