Vodafone Idea Expands International Roaming Plans With Up to 70GB Data and 30 Day Validity

Vodafone Idea has expanded its international roaming portfolio with a fresh range of postpaid plans designed for customers travelling abroad for short vacations, business trips and long stays. The telecom operator says the updated roaming packs focus on providing flexible validity options, higher data benefits and wider global coverage.

The newly introduced plans are available with multiple validity periods including 1 day, 7 days, 10 days, 14 days, 21 days and 30 days. Depending on the selected recharge, users can access unlimited calling, high speed mobile data and SMS benefits across more than 40 popular destinations as well as over 120 international countries.

Among the premium offerings, the Rs 5999 roaming pack stands out with 30 days validity. Under this plan, customers travelling to more than 40 selected countries receive 70GB data under fair usage policy limits, along with 1500 calling minutes and unlimited SMS access. For travelers visiting over 120 countries, the same pack includes 30GB data, 1500 calling minutes and 100 SMS benefits.

Vodafone Idea has also introduced a more affordable 30 day plan priced at Rs 3999. This package offers 30GB data, 1500 calling minutes and unlimited SMS across 40 plus countries. The benefits remain largely similar for the wider 120 country coverage category as well.

For medium duration international trips, the company has launched several 14 day and 21 day plans. The Rs 4999 pack offers unlimited data, calling and SMS access across 40 countries, while users travelling in the broader 120 country category receive 21GB data, 500 minutes for calls and 100 SMS benefits. Another 21 day option priced at Rs 5699 provides unlimited services for selected countries and 21GB data benefits for wider destinations.

The telecom operator has also refreshed its shorter validity plans aimed at business travelers and quick international visits. Customers choosing the Rs 3649 roaming plan get unlimited calling, SMS and data access in over 40 countries for seven days. Meanwhile, the Rs 2649 option includes limited data benefits along with 300 minutes of calls and SMS support.

Vodafone Idea continues to offer one day roaming packs as entry level options for users travelling briefly overseas. Plans priced at Rs 649, Rs 749 and Rs 1349 include combinations of data, call minutes and SMS benefits depending on the selected destination category.

The company says these updated plans were developed keeping changing travel patterns in mind, especially as international travel demand continues increasing among Indian consumers. Business travelers, students and tourists are now looking for longer validity and uninterrupted connectivity without relying heavily on local SIM cards abroad.

Industry analysts believe telecom operators are increasingly strengthening roaming services as global travel recovers steadily. Customers today expect seamless internet access, uninterrupted calling and easier connectivity while moving between countries, especially for work and navigation needs.
