Sony Launches Inzone H6 Air Gaming Headset With 360 Spatial Audio and 40 Hour Battery
Sony has expanded its gaming audio lineup with the lightweight Inzone H6 Air headset offering immersive spatial sound, long battery life and comfortable design for extended gaming sessions daily.

Sony has expanded its gaming accessories portfolio with the launch of the new Inzone H6 Air headset, a product aimed at gamers looking for immersive sound and long hour comfort. The latest headset joins Sony’s growing Inzone gaming series and focuses heavily on lightweight construction, advanced spatial audio and broad device compatibility.
Designed for extended gaming sessions, the Inzone H6 Air weighs only 199 grams without the microphone and cable, making it one of the lighter gaming headsets in its category. Sony says the headset has been engineered to reduce side pressure on the head, allowing users to stay comfortable during long gameplay sessions without feeling excessive strain.
One of the standout features of the headset is its advanced open back acoustic structure. Unlike traditional closed gaming headsets, the open back design is intended to create a wider and more natural soundstage, helping gamers identify in game audio directions more accurately. Sony claims the headset delivers highly immersive three dimensional sound that can improve awareness during competitive gameplay.
The headset also supports 360 spatial sound technology, which is especially useful for genres such as first person shooters and role playing games. Players can reportedly detect footsteps, movement and environmental sound cues with greater precision. Sony has additionally collaborated with SIE to include specially tuned equalizer profiles optimized for RPG and adventure gaming experiences.
For audio performance, the Inzone H6 Air uses optimized driver units inspired by professional open back monitor headphones. According to the company, this setup helps maintain detailed and balanced sound output across different frequencies, enhancing both gaming and entertainment usage.
Battery life is another major highlight of the headset. Sony says the Inzone H6 Air can deliver up to 40 hours of usage on a single charge, making it suitable for gamers who spend long hours online without wanting to recharge frequently.
The headset is compatible with multiple devices including PCs, smartphones and the PlayStation 5 controller. Users can connect it through a 3.5mm audio cable or by using the included USB Type C audio box. When connected via USB Type C to a PC, users can also access the INZONE HUB software for additional audio customization and control settings.
Sony has kept the connectivity experience simple with plug and play support for compatible devices. Gamers using consoles or PCs can quickly connect the headset without going through complicated setup processes.
The Inzone H6 Air is priced at Rs 17,990 in India and sales have started from May 18, 2026. The headset is currently available in a black color option through online platforms including Amazon and Sony’s ShopatSC portal.
With gaming audio becoming increasingly competitive, Sony appears to be targeting players who want a balance between premium sound quality, lightweight comfort and long battery performance in a single headset designed for everyday gaming use.
