Gold Prices Drop Again in Bengaluru; Rates Fall for Fourth Straight Day

Gold and silver prices have continued to decline for the fourth consecutive day across major cities including Bengaluru, bringing some relief to jewellery buyers and investors.

Bengaluru: After witnessing steady hikes over the past few weeks, gold and silver prices have now started falling across the country. Bengaluru, along with several major Indian cities, recorded another drop in gold prices on Tuesday morning, giving buyers a reason to smile.

Experts say international tensions, fluctuations in the rupee value, and changing investor sentiment are influencing bullion prices. Recent comments made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a public event also reportedly affected gold-related shares, leading to changes in market trends.

Currently, the price of 24-carat gold in the domestic market stands at ₹1,52,120 per 10 grams, compared to ₹1,52,234 recorded yesterday. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold is priced at ₹1,39,440 per 10 grams, slightly lower than the previous day’s ₹1,39,640.

In Bengaluru, the price of 24-carat gold remains at ₹1,52,120 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is being sold at ₹1,39,440. Jewellery traders in the city say customer footfall has slightly increased after the recent fall in prices.

In Hyderabad, 24-carat gold is priced at ₹1,52,120 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,39,640 per 10 grams. In Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam, 24-carat gold costs ₹1,52,120 while 22-carat gold is available at ₹1,39,440.

Mumbai and Kolkata are also witnessing similar rates, with 24-carat gold priced at ₹1,52,120 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,39,440. Chennai continues to have slightly higher prices, where 24-carat gold is trading at ₹1,53,810 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,40,990.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold is priced at ₹1,52,270 while 22-carat gold stands at ₹1,39,590. Silver prices in Hyderabad are currently at ₹2,85,100 per kilogram, while the domestic market rate is ₹2,74,800.
