Motorola Launches Moto G47 with 108MP Camera and Reliable Midrange Performance
Motorola expands its G series portfolio with a new smartphone featuring a high resolution camera, strong battery life, and practical features aimed at users seeking performance and durability in daily use

Expanding its midrange lineup, Motorola has introduced the Moto G47 in global markets, positioning it as a feature packed option for users who want a balance between performance and affordability. The device brings a mix of camera capability, battery strength, and everyday usability.
At the heart of the Moto G47 is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, built on a 6 nanometer architecture. This processor is designed to handle daily multitasking smoothly while maintaining energy efficiency. The phone comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and users can expand storage up to 1TB using a microSD card, offering flexibility for media and apps.
The highlight feature is clearly the 108 megapixel primary rear camera, which aims to deliver detailed and sharp photos in various lighting conditions. It is paired with a secondary macro sensor, while the front houses an 8 megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Motorola appears to be focusing on delivering a strong imaging experience within a midrange budget.
On the front, the smartphone features a 6.67 inch HD plus LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smoother scrolling and a better visual experience. The display also offers a peak brightness of 1050 nits and is protected by Gorilla Glass, making it suitable for everyday usage.
Battery performance remains another strong point. The Moto G47 packs a 5200mAh battery that supports fast charging, allowing users to quickly top up their device when needed. It also includes reverse charging support, adding convenience for charging accessories on the go.
Durability has also been taken into account. The device comes with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, along with military grade certification, suggesting it can handle rough usage conditions better than many competitors in the same segment.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB Type C port, covering all essential needs for modern users. The phone is available in multiple color options, adding a touch of style to its practical design.
In terms of pricing, the Moto G47 has been launched in Europe at around 319 euros for the base variant. With its combination of a high resolution camera, solid battery, and dependable hardware, Motorola is targeting users who want a reliable smartphone without stepping into premium pricing territory.
