Oben Rorr Evo Electric Bike Launched With 180 Kilometer Range and Smart Features

Electric mobility in India continues to gain momentum, and Oben has added a new option for riders with the launch of the Oben Rorr Evo. Designed for both city commuting and performance focused users, the bike combines modern styling with practical range and smart technology.
One of the biggest highlights of the Rorr Evo is its claimed range. On a single charge, the bike can deliver up to 180 kilometers under IDC conditions, while real world usage is expected to offer around 150 kilometers. This makes it a viable option for daily riders who want to reduce frequent charging stops without compromising on distance.
Performance is another area where the new model aims to stand out. The bike is powered by an in house developed I PMSM motor that produces 9 kilowatts of peak power and delivers up to 250 Nm of wheel torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 40 kilometers per hour in just five seconds and reach a top speed of 110 kilometers per hour, offering a balance between efficiency and excitement.
Battery durability has also been a key focus. The Rorr Evo uses a 3.4 kWh LFP battery that comes with an IP67 rating and an eight year warranty. The company claims the battery has been tested under extreme conditions, including temperatures as high as 280 degrees Celsius, adding confidence for long term use in varied climates.
The bike is built on a trellis frame based on the ARX platform, ensuring structural strength and stability. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and a seven step adjustable monoshock at the rear. For braking, both wheels feature 270 mm disc brakes supported by a combined braking system for better control.
Technology plays a central role in the riding experience. A five inch TFT display provides key information and supports Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can choose between four modes including Eco Road Havoc and Smart IQ. The Smart IQ mode uses artificial intelligence to analyze riding patterns and estimate range more accurately, making it easier to plan journeys.
In terms of practicality, the bike includes useful additions like under seat storage of six liters and an additional four liter tank storage area with USB charging ports. It also features full LED lighting, a projector headlamp, and a distinct front design with horizontal DRL styling. Safety features such as fall alert integration with a mobile app further enhance its appeal.
Pricing for the Oben Rorr Evo starts at 1 lakh rupees for the first ten thousand customers, after which it will increase to 1.25 lakh rupees. The bike is available in multiple color options including blue red white and black, giving buyers a range of choices.
With its mix of long range, strong performance, and intelligent features, the Oben Rorr Evo enters the growing electric motorcycle segment as a well rounded option for riders looking to shift toward cleaner and smarter mobility.
