Poco C81 Pro Launch Brings Big Battery and Large Display at Budget Price
Poco has introduced the C81 Pro in global markets with a 6000mAh battery, 6.9 inch display, Unisoc processor, and affordable pricing aimed at everyday users looking for long backup and smooth performance

Poco has officially expanded its budget smartphone lineup with the launch of the C81 Pro in select global markets. The new device focuses on delivering a large display experience, long battery life, and balanced everyday performance for users who want reliability without spending too much. Positioned in the entry level segment, the phone continues Poco’s strategy of offering practical features at an aggressive price point.
One of the highlights of the Poco C81 Pro is its massive 6000mAh battery paired with 15W fast charging support. The company claims that the device can deliver extended usage, including up to 79 hours of music playback on a single charge, making it suitable for users who are always on the move or prefer fewer charging cycles throughout the day.
On the front, the phone features a 6.9 inch HD plus LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light, which aims to reduce eye strain during long usage. The large screen size makes it suitable for watching content, browsing, and casual gaming, especially in the budget category where bigger displays are becoming more popular.
Under the hood, the C81 Pro is powered by the Unisoc T7250 octa core processor built on a 12nm process. It is paired with Mali G57 graphics support and comes with up to 4GB RAM along with storage options going up to 256GB. Users can expand RAM virtually up to 8GB and also increase storage using a microSD card, which adds flexibility for heavy app users.
The camera setup on the device includes a 13 megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and an 8 megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. While it is not designed as a photography focused phone, it aims to handle basic daily shooting needs adequately for social media and casual use.
In terms of design and usability, Poco has added Wet Touch Technology 2.0, allowing the screen to respond even with wet or slightly oily fingers. The phone also includes modern connectivity options such as Bluetooth 5.2, Wi Fi, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, NFC, USB Type C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, keeping it practical for a wide range of users.
Security and sensors are also covered with a side mounted fingerprint scanner along with face recognition support. Additional sensors like accelerometer, electronic compass, ambient light, and proximity sensors are included to enhance everyday usability.
The Poco C81 Pro is available in Black, Gold, and Green color options. Pricing starts at approximately 9300 rupees for the base variant, making it one of the more affordable large battery smartphones in its category.
