Ai Plus Nova 2 Goes on Sale with 6000mAh Battery and Budget Friendly 5G Features
New Ai Plus Nova 2 smartphone is now available in India featuring large battery high refresh rate display and 50 megapixel camera targeting budget users seeking long lasting performance and 5G connectivity

The budget smartphone segment in India has received a new addition as Ai Plus has officially opened sales for its latest device, the Ai Plus Nova 2. The phone is now available through online platforms and select retail stores, offering a combination of large battery backup and modern features at an affordable price point.
Interestingly, the launch comes alongside other models in the lineup such as the Nova 2 Ultra and Nova Flip, but it is the Nova 2 that has now reached customers first. The device aims to attract users looking for a reliable daily driver with long battery life and smooth performance.
The phone is priced competitively in the entry level 5G category. The base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at 8999 rupees, while the higher 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option comes at 10999 rupees. It is being offered in multiple colour options to appeal to younger buyers and first time smartphone users.
Under the hood, the Ai Plus Nova 2 runs on Android 16 based NxtQ OS and is powered by an octa core 6nm processor clocked at 2.3GHz. The device is designed to handle everyday tasks smoothly while maintaining power efficiency for longer usage hours.
One of the key highlights of the smartphone is its massive 6000mAh battery, which is paired with 18W fast charging support. This ensures extended usage without frequent charging, making it suitable for users who rely heavily on mobile data and entertainment throughout the day.
On the front, the phone features a 6.745 inch HD plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and better visual responsiveness. The device also includes a 50 megapixel primary rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports dual mode 5G, Bluetooth 5.0, dual band Wi Fi, and a Type C port. It also comes with a side mounted fingerprint sensor for security along with an IP64 rating for protection against dust and splashes.
At the same time, attention is also shifting toward the upcoming Ai Plus Nova 2 Ultra, which is set to go on sale soon with upgraded specifications including a higher resolution AMOLED display, faster processor, and improved charging support. This suggests that the brand is building a wider portfolio to compete more aggressively in the budget smartphone space.
With the Nova 2 now available in the market, Ai Plus appears focused on offering a balanced mix of affordability, battery performance, and 5G readiness, aiming to strengthen its presence among value conscious consumers in India.
