Samsung Galaxy A and F series phones see price hike in India new leaked rates surprise buyers
New leaks suggest Samsung is increasing prices across multiple Galaxy A and F series smartphones in India from budget to mid range segments with revised pricing expected to impact several popular models

Samsung appears to be preparing for another round of price adjustments in India, with fresh leaks indicating that several models in its Galaxy A and F series lineup will become more expensive. According to reports, the revised pricing could take effect from April 10, 2026, affecting both entry level and mid range smartphones.
The leaked information, shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav, suggests that internal documents already outline the updated pricing structure. While Samsung has not officially confirmed the change, the scale of the revision indicates a broad update across multiple device categories.
Starting with entry level devices, the Samsung Galaxy A07 has seen a noticeable jump. Its 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is now listed at 10999 rupees, up from 9749 rupees earlier. Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy A06 5G has also become more expensive across variants, with price increases of around 1000 rupees depending on the configuration. The base model now sits at 13499 rupees, while higher storage options go up to 17499 rupees.
The revised pricing also extends to newer models like the Samsung Galaxy A07 5G and Samsung Galaxy A17 5G. The A07 5G now starts at 16499 rupees for its base variant, while the A17 5G lineup shows increases of around 1000 to 1500 rupees, pushing its top variant close to 27999 rupees. These changes indicate that Samsung is reshaping pricing even in its recently introduced models.
In the mid range category, the impact is even more visible. The Samsung Galaxy A36 has reportedly seen a hike ranging between 1500 and 3000 rupees depending on the configuration. Prices now stretch up to 43499 rupees for the highest variant. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A56 has experienced one of the steepest increases, with a jump of up to 3500 rupees in certain models, pushing its premium variants beyond the 52000 rupee mark.
Another model affected is the Samsung Galaxy F17 5G, which has seen a uniform increase of around 1000 rupees across all variants. The updated pricing places it between 17999 rupees and 21999 rupees depending on storage and RAM configurations.
The leaked document also mentions that these revised prices will be implemented as recommended retail pricing, with adjustments expected under channel partner protection policies. However, there has been no official confirmation from Samsung so far regarding the timing or execution of this price revision.
If the leaked figures turn out to be accurate, buyers looking to purchase Galaxy A or F series smartphones may need to rethink their plans, as the cost of several popular models is set to rise across segments.
