Lenovo Expands Premium Laptop Lineup in India With New IdeaPad and Yoga Series
Lenovo unveils a refreshed range of IdeaPad and Yoga laptops in India featuring advanced processors long battery life AI features and flexible designs aimed at professionals creators and everyday users

In a major push to strengthen its premium laptop portfolio, Lenovo has introduced a new lineup of devices in India, including the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2 in 1, Lenovo Yoga Slim 7, and Lenovo Yoga 7 2 in 1. The latest launch focuses on combining performance, portability, and versatility for modern users.
The newly launched models are powered by a mix of next generation chipsets, including Intel Core Ultra Series 3, AMD Ryzen AI 400, and Snapdragon X2 platforms. These processors are designed to support AI driven workloads and improved efficiency, reflecting the growing demand for smarter computing devices.
The Yoga lineup sees a notable expansion with multiple variants such as Yoga 7a 2 in 1, Yoga Slim 7x, Yoga 7i 2 in 1 Aura Edition, and Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition. Each model is tailored to different user needs, ranging from ultra portable designs to high performance machines.
Pricing for the new range starts at Rs 119990 for the IdeaPad 5 2 in 1 series. The Yoga 7a 2 in 1 and Yoga Slim 7x are priced at Rs 132990, while the Yoga 7i 2 in 1 Aura Edition comes in at Rs 136990. At the higher end, the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition is priced at Rs 199990, targeting premium buyers.
The company confirmed that the devices will be available starting April 7, 2026 through its official website, exclusive stores, and major online and offline retail channels. Select models will also be offered with custom to order options, allowing users to configure specifications based on their requirements.
Focusing on flexibility, the IdeaPad 5 2 in 1 series features a 360 degree hinge that allows seamless switching between laptop, tablet, tent, and stand modes. It also integrates AI based tools like Smart Note 3.0, along with support for Wi Fi 7 connectivity, Dolby tuned speakers, and smart noise cancellation. The series is backed by a 60Wh battery for all day use.
Meanwhile, the Yoga 7 2 in 1 series offers both Intel and AMD processor options and emphasizes multimedia and creative workflows. It features a high refresh rate OLED display with Dolby Vision support and quad speakers enhanced by Dolby Atmos. Additional features include a 5 megapixel infrared camera and compatibility with the Yoga Pen Gen 2, making it suitable for design and productivity tasks. The devices are equipped with a 70Wh battery.
The Yoga Slim 7 series stands out for its lightweight build and extended battery life. The Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition comes with a metal alloy chassis and weighs under one kilogram, offering a premium feel with portability. On the other hand, the Yoga Slim 7x is powered by a Snapdragon processor and delivers up to 31 hours of battery life on a single charge. It also features an OLED display, a high resolution infrared camera for video calls, and an advanced audio system with multiple microphones.
With this launch, Lenovo is clearly targeting a wide range of users, from professionals seeking performance to everyday consumers looking for flexibility and long battery life in a single device.
