Xiaomi Unveils Desktop Speaker Pro Set with Powerful Bass and Wireless Subwoofer
New desktop focused speaker system delivers immersive stereo sound with dual drivers, smart equalizer modes, and flexible connectivity options for modern users across work and entertainment setups
Xiaomi has introduced its latest audio product, the Desktop Speaker Pro Set, targeting users who want a richer and more immersive sound experience at their desks. The new speaker system has been launched in the global market, with initial availability in Singapore.
Priced at 139 SGD, roughly around Rs 10000, the Desktop Speaker Pro Set is currently available through Xiaomi’s official website in Singapore. There is no confirmation yet on its rollout in other regions, but the launch signals Xiaomi’s continued push into premium desktop audio solutions.
The speaker system is designed with versatility in mind, supporting multiple connectivity options. Users can connect it via USB, Bluetooth 5.3, AUX input, and A2DP playback, making it compatible with computers, smartphones, and tablets. Additionally, it features a built in 3.5mm microphone input, allowing users to attach an external microphone for calls or streaming.
One of the key highlights is its advanced audio processing system. Xiaomi has equipped the speakers with a DSP setup that includes a fully digital signal chain and amplifier. This combination helps reduce noise while maintaining a high dynamic range, ensuring clearer and more detailed sound output across different use cases.
The Desktop Speaker Pro Set also comes with five preset equalizer modes, including music, bass, vocals, game, and movie. These modes automatically adjust the audio profile, with the wireless subwoofer adapting in real time to match the selected setting. This makes the system suitable for everything from casual listening to gaming and watching films.
In terms of hardware, the speaker unit features two 10W racetrack drivers paired with passive radiators. Together, they create a strong stereo field and enhanced bass performance. The addition of a wireless subwoofer further deepens the low frequency output, supporting frequencies down to 60Hz for a fuller audio experience.
Xiaomi has also paid attention to the physical design. The speakers are angled upward at 53 degrees, directing sound straight toward the listener for improved clarity during desktop use. The main unit measures 51.1 x 7.5 x 7.5 cm and weighs around 960 grams, making it compact enough to fit neatly into most setups without compromising on performance.
With this launch, Xiaomi is aiming to cater to users who want a balance of style, functionality, and powerful sound in a desktop speaker system.
