Xiaomi 17T Series Leak Points to Refined Design and Upgraded Performance

Leaked visuals and early reports suggest Xiaomi is preparing its new 17T and 17T Pro smartphones with a focus on refined design, stronger performance and noticeable camera improvements for the premium segment

Recent leaks indicate that Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro share a very similar design language. Both phones are expected to feature a centered punch hole display with flat edges and a clean modern finish. The rear side appears to carry a circular camera module with four sensor cutouts along with Xiaomi branding placed at the lower back. While the overall look is closely matched, slight differences in camera arrangement and device size are expected between the two models

The standard Xiaomi 17T is likely to feature a 6.59 inch display with a resolution of 2756 by 1268 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the 17T Pro may come with a larger 6.83 inch screen offering 2772 by 1280 pixels resolution and a smoother 144Hz refresh rate, aiming for a more immersive viewing experience

Under the hood, Xiaomi is expected to equip the 17T with the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, while the Pro variant could feature the more powerful Dimensity 9500 processor. Both models are expected to come with up to 12GB RAM and storage options ranging between 256GB and 512GB, targeting users who need high speed multitasking and storage flexibility

Camera performance appears to be a key highlight of this lineup. Both smartphones are expected to feature a 50 megapixel primary sensor, a 50 megapixel telephoto lens with up to 5x optical zoom and a 12 megapixel ultra wide camera. For selfies and video calls, a 32 megapixel front camera is likely to be included, keeping the focus on balanced imaging across all lenses

Battery life also shows a clear distinction between the two models. The Xiaomi 17T may come with a 6500mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging, while the 17T Pro could house a larger 7000mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support, designed for users who prioritize endurance and fast power top ups

In terms of pricing, early estimates suggest the Xiaomi 17T could start around 749 euros, which is roughly 67000 rupees. The 17T Pro may be positioned higher at about 999 euros, approximately 90000 rupees, placing both devices in the premium smartphone category.
