VinFast VF MPV 7 Launches in India with Long Range Electric Mobility and Premium Features

Vietnamese EV maker VinFast expands its India lineup with a new electric MPV offering spacious design modern tech features and competitive driving range aimed at growing multi utility vehicle demand

VinFast has strengthened its presence in the Indian electric vehicle market with the launch of the VinFast VF MPV 7, priced from Rs 24.49 lakh ex showroom. The model marks the company’s third product for India and comes as part of its broader push into the premium EV segment.

The company had recently opened bookings for the vehicle at a token amount of Rs 21000, signaling early interest in its multi purpose electric offering. Alongside this model, VinFast is also expected to introduce a commercial version named Limo Green in the near future, further expanding its mobility portfolio.

Design wise, the VF MPV 7 follows VinFast’s modern EV styling language with LED daytime running lights, vertically placed headlamps, and a redesigned grille at the front. The vehicle also features pull style door handles and a sleek connected tail light setup that stretches across the rear, giving it a wide and premium appearance.

In terms of size, the electric MPV measures 4740 mm in length, 1872 mm in width, and 1734 mm in height. It offers a generous boot space of around 1240 litres, making it suitable for families and long distance travel. The overall design focuses on balancing practicality with a futuristic look.

Inside the cabin, the VF MPV 7 is equipped with a 10.1 inch infotainment display and multiple USB A and USB C charging ports. The driver’s seat comes with height adjustment for improved comfort, while features like keyless entry and integrated lighting enhance convenience and usability.

Safety and driving assistance have also been given importance. The vehicle comes with an all wheel disc braking system, electronic parking brake with auto hold, and stability support features designed to improve control across different road conditions.

Powering the MPV is a front mounted electric motor that produces around 150 hp and 280 Nm of torque. It supports three driving modes and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in under 10 seconds, offering a balance of performance and efficiency for daily as well as highway use.

The battery pack stands at 60.1 kWh, delivering a claimed range of approximately 517 km on a single charge. This positions it competitively in the growing electric MPV segment in India, where range and practicality remain key buying factors.

In the broader context of its lineup, VinFast already offers models such as the VinFast VF 6 and VinFast VF 7 in India. The VF 6 comes with a 59.6 kWh battery and a range of about 468 km, while the VF 7 offers up to 532 km depending on battery configuration, highlighting the brand’s focus on long range electric mobility.

With the launch of the VF MPV 7, VinFast is clearly aiming to tap into the growing demand for spacious electric family vehicles. The model will compete with upcoming and existing rivals in the segment, including electric MPVs from established global manufacturers, as India’s EV market continues to expand rapidly.
