UPI payment: Now Can make Payment without internet and smartphone

UPI payment: The digital revolution has completely changed the way people live, work and communicate. The digital age has simplified many tasks, including money transfer. Earlier you had to visit banks to transfer money, but now, you can easily do banking from the comfort in home using a mobile phone and internet connection.

Recently people don’t like to carry much cash with them due to this revolutionary change. A common and popular method is to use Unified Payments Interface or UPI for transactions. Specially, now you can easily send money through UPI without internet connection.

HDFC Bank, a leading private sector bank, has recently introduced three digital products related to UPI. These are named UPI 123Pay, a UPI plug-in service for merchants for their transactions and AutoPay on QR Code.

1. UPI 123 Pay: Payment through IVR:

With UPI 123 Pay, users can activate UPI payments with just one phone call. Customers can pay for services/transactions through Interactive Voice Response (IVR), which is convenient for those without internet access or smartphones.

2. UPI plug-in service for merchant transactions:

The UPI plug-in service streamlines UPI payments by eliminating the need to switch between different apps while making purchases.

3. Self payment on QR code:

Auto-pay with QR codes simplifies recurring payments. Set up automatic payments for streaming services, subscriptions and more using UPI QR codes, eliminating the need for manual transactions.
