Heavy Rainfall in these states next 4 days: IMD issued high alert

According to the weather report, rainfall activities will be intense over North Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand and parts of Bihar in the next four to five days. India Meteorological Department has issued a rain warning for many states.

Weather Report: Rain has continued in many states of the country and the India Meteorological Department has issued a rain warning for many states. Heavy rains are likely in eastern India till October 3. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the west coast today.

The India Meteorological Department has said that heavy rains may occur in the Himalayan states of West Bengal, Sikkim and Bihar from September 30 to October 4. Besides, Jharkhand, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal from September 30 to October 3 and Andaman and Nicobar Islands will receive heavy rains today.

Also, Konkan, Goa and Madhya Maharashtra regions are likely to receive heavy rains today. Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh are also likely to receive rain today. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has warned that there will be heavy rains in the entire state of Odisha, waterlogging in low-lying areas, floods and landslides in some places.

According to the weather report, light rain is likely at a few places over Northeast India, entire Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh and one or two places over Uttarakhand. Light rain is likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Marathwada, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep. Heavy rain is likely at few places over Konkan and Goa, Central Maharashtra, Coastal Karnataka, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and North Odisha.
