According to the images shared by a Twitter user, Arpit Patel, the Jio smartphone will include a pill-shaped camera module on the back and don Reliance’s distinct dark blue tone. The camera system may comprise a 13-megapixel AI camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

There’s another cutout for the LED flash. The Twitter post also shows the front of the phone. The image suggests a tall display, likely 6.6 inches in size. The front panel may have a waterdrop notch a common design practice for smartphones under Rs 10,000, which should also be how the Jio Phone 5G will be priced.

The camera setup is expected to consist of a 13-megapixel AI camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera, accompanied by a separate cutout for the LED flash. In addition to revealing the back of the phone, the Twitter post from tipster Arpit Patel, also provides a glimpse of the front side. The image indicates a vertically elongated display, likely around 6.6 inches in dimensions.

According to Patel, it is likely that the Jio Phone 5G will be equipped with either a Dimensity 700 SoC or a Unisoc 5G chipset. The front panel is speculated to feature a 5-megapixel camera. Furthermore, he mentioned in his tweet that the device is expected to be launched during the festive seasons of Diwali or New Year.
