Poco X5 5G with Snapdragon 695 SoC, 33W fast charging support launched

Poco has expanded its 5G smartphone lineup with the launch of the Poco X5 5G smartphone in India. The smartphone sports an FHD+ display and it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. The mid-range Poco smartphone runs Android 12 operating system and comes with fast charging support. Poco X5 5G with Snapdragon 695 SoC, 33W fast charging support launched.

Price, availability and offers

The Chinese smartphone maker has launched two variants of the Poco X5 5G. The smartphone comes in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB models priced at Rs 18,999 and Rs 20,999 respectively. The smartphone can be purchased in Jaguar Black, Wildcat Blue and Supernova Green colour options. The smartphone will be available online on Flipkart starting March 21. The company has also announced that on the first day of the sale, the customers will get a flat discount of Rs 2,000 on the smartphone.

Poco X5 5G specifications

Poco X5 5G sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers a 120Hz of refresh rate and up to 1200 nits of peak brightness. The display on the mid-range Poco smartphone is made scratch-resistant with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.

Poco X5 5G is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage options,128GB and 256GB. Users can further expand the storage up to 1TB by adding a microSD card.

Poco X5 5G runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 13. The dual SIM Poco smartphone features a triple rear camera with 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. Front is home to a 13MP selfie camera.

Poco X5 5G comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Infrared sensor. The smartphone comes with an IP53 rating which makes the smartphone dust and splash-resistant. Poco X5 5G is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
