Oppo K15 Pro Series Set for April 1 Launch with Gaming Focus and New Accessories
Oppo is preparing to unveil its K15 Pro lineup in China alongside smartwatch and audio products, with expected gaming features, advanced cooling, and powerful hardware upgrades for performance focused users

Oppo is gearing up for a major product announcement in China, confirming that its upcoming K15 Pro series will debut on April 1. The launch is expected to include two smartphones, the Oppo K15 Pro and Oppo K15 Pro Plus, along with a range of new accessories aimed at expanding the brand’s ecosystem.
Alongside the smartphones, Oppo will introduce the Oppo Watch X3 Mini, a compact version of its smartwatch, and the Oppo Enco Clip 2 audio device. The company has hinted that the new earbuds are tuned in collaboration with Danish audio specialist Dynaudio, suggesting a focus on refined sound quality.
The teaser shared on Weibo points toward a strong gaming orientation for the K15 Pro lineup. Oppo appears to be integrating an active cooling fan into the devices, a feature typically reserved for gaming centric smartphones. This design choice indicates that the company is targeting users who prioritize sustained performance during intensive tasks like mobile gaming.
Leaks over recent months have provided insight into what the devices might offer. The Oppo K15 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78 inch 1.5K LTPS OLED display, delivering sharp visuals and smooth performance. It may be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, although earlier rumors had suggested a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Both options position the device firmly in the high performance category.
Camera capabilities are also expected to remain competitive, with reports indicating a 50 megapixel primary rear sensor. Battery performance could be another highlight, with speculation pointing to a large capacity unit, possibly reaching up to 8000mAh, which would appeal to heavy users and gamers alike.
The upcoming models are seen as successors to the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro, which previously launched in China with features such as a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, AMOLED display, and advanced cooling system. That device also included multiple water resistance ratings, setting a benchmark that the K15 Pro series is likely to build upon.
While Oppo recently introduced the K14 series in India, there is still no confirmation on whether the K15 Pro lineup will make its way to global markets anytime soon. For now, all eyes are on the April 1 launch event in China, where Oppo is expected to reveal full specifications and pricing details.
