The mid range 5G smartphone segment has several options for buyers, and the Oppo K14 Plus 5G is now competing with models such as the Vivo T5x 5G and OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite. While all three phones offer MediaTek processors and Android 16 based software, their hardware specifications differ across several important areas.

Price is one of the first things buyers are likely to consider. The Oppo K14 Plus 5G starts at Rs 29999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version. The 8GB RAM and 128GB variant costs Rs 32999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB version is priced at Rs 35999.

The Vivo T5x 5G is positioned at slightly lower prices. Its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs Rs 27999, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB version is available for Rs 30999. The top 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 33999.

The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite also offers three configurations. The 6GB RAM and 128GB model is priced at Rs 28999. The 8GB RAM and 128GB version costs Rs 30999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB variant comes at Rs 34999.

Display performance is another area where the phones take different approaches. The Oppo K14 Plus 5G comes with a 6.78 inch AMOLED display featuring a 2772 by 1272 pixel resolution. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate, 3600 nits peak brightness and 450 pixels per inch.

The Vivo T5x 5G uses a 6.76 inch Full HD Plus LCD panel with a 2344 by 1080 pixel resolution. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and offers up to 1200 nits peak brightness.

The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite has a slightly smaller 6.72 inch Full HD Plus LCD display with a 2400 by 1080 pixel resolution. The panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate and has a peak brightness of 680 nits.

The processor selection is different on all three smartphones. Oppo uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max chipset in the K14 Plus 5G. Vivo has equipped the T5x 5G with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo, while the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex.

Despite the processor differences, all three devices run Android 16 based software. The Oppo K14 Plus 5G uses ColorOS 16, the Vivo T5x 5G runs OriginOS 6 and the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite operates with OxygenOS 16.

The camera setup also varies considerably, especially on the front. Oppo has equipped the K14 Plus 5G with a 50MP primary rear camera featuring optical image stabilisation and an f/1.8 aperture. A 2MP depth camera with an f/2.4 aperture is placed alongside it.

Vivo also uses a 50MP main rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 2MP secondary camera. The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite gets a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and electronic image stabilisation, along with a 2MP monochrome camera.

For selfies and video calls, the Vivo T5x 5G stands out on paper with a 32MP front camera featuring an f/2.0 aperture. The Oppo K14 Plus 5G has a 16MP front camera with an f/2.4 aperture, while the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite comes with an 8MP front camera using an f/2.0 aperture.

Battery capacity is another major difference between the three smartphones. The Oppo K14 Plus 5G carries the largest battery at 8000mAh. It supports 45W SuperVOOC Flash Charging and also offers 10W reverse wired charging.

The Vivo T5x 5G comes with a 7200mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite packs a 7000mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC fast charging.

Connectivity options remain broadly similar across the three phones. The Oppo K14 Plus 5G supports 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, QZSS and a USB Type C 2.0 port.

The Vivo T5x 5G includes 5G connectivity, Wi Fi, Bluetooth, dual SIM support, GPS and a USB Type C port. The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite offers 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and USB Type C connectivity.

Looking at the specifications together, the three smartphones are aimed at slightly different preferences. The Oppo K14 Plus 5G combines an AMOLED panel with a large 8000mAh battery, while the Vivo T5x 5G offers a high resolution selfie camera and a 7200mAh battery. The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite focuses on a 144Hz display, 7000mAh battery and its own MediaTek processor variant.

For buyers comparing these phones, the final choice can depend on the features that matter most, including display technology, battery capacity, camera hardware, storage and price. All three provide 5G connectivity and Android 16 based software, but the differences in screen type, charging, cameras and hardware give each model its own specification profile.
