Motorola is preparing to launch the Razr Fold in India featuring Snapdragon chipset, large dual displays, triple 50MP Sony cameras, 6000mAh battery and premium foldable design with multiple storage options and special edition

Motorola is all set to bring its next generation foldable smartphone to India, with the Motorola Razr Fold expected to launch next week. The device was recently showcased at the Mobile World Congress, and now the company is preparing for its official India debut on May 13.
Adding to the excitement, Motorola India confirmed the launch through a post on X, while also listing the device on its official website and Flipkart microsite. The smartphone will be available in Pantone Lily White and Pantone Blackened Blue colour options, along with a special FIFA World Cup edition for select markets.
The Motorola Razr Fold will arrive in multiple storage variants including 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and a higher 16GB RAM with 512GB configuration. These options clearly show that the company is targeting both premium and power users who demand high performance and large storage capacity.
At the heart of the design, the Razr Fold focuses on a large foldable experience. The device features an 8.1 inch inner LTPO pOLED display with 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching up to 6200 nits. On the outside, it carries a 6.6 inch LTPO pOLED cover display with a faster 165Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 6000 nits, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor paired with the Adreno A829 GPU, making it a strong contender in the flagship foldable segment. The phone is also equipped with a 6000mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring long usage with quick power top ups.
One of the biggest highlights of the Razr Fold is its triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra wide angle camera. For selfies, the device offers a 32MP front camera on the outer display and a 20MP camera on the inner screen, providing flexibility for different shooting angles.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports 5G, WiFi, NFC, GPS, BeiDou and USB Type C. Its foldable design measures 160.05 x 73.6 x 10.04 mm when folded and 144.47 x 160.05 x 4.7 mm when unfolded, making it compact yet expansive when opened.
The global foldable smartphone market continues to grow steadily, with strong competition led by brands like Samsung, which currently holds a dominant share. With the Razr Fold, Motorola is clearly aiming to strengthen its position in this fast evolving premium segment by offering a blend of style, performance and advanced camera technology.
