JioBharat B2 launched at just Rs799 — track your loved ones directly from your smartphone!

At the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, Reliance Jio unveiled its latest innovation — the Jio Bharat B2, branded as India’s first Safety First mobile phone. Designed not just for calls and messaging, the new model focuses on enhancing family safety, with special features aimed at protecting women, children, and senior citizens.
According to Jio officials, the handset has been launched under the theme “Ensuring safety for every Indian household.”
Price and availability
The Jio Bharat B2 is priced starting at rs 799, with higher-end variants costing up to rs1,799. Interested buyers can pre-book the device for just rs 100. The phone will be available through Jio Stores, major mobile outlets, JioMart, Amazon, and Swiggy Instamart.
Key features
The Jio Bharat B2 is a keypad phone featuring a 2.4-inch display and a 2,000 mAh battery. Users can stream over 455 live channels through JioTV, and make UPI payments through JioPay. The recharge plans are designed to be affordable — for rs 123, users can enjoy unlimited calls and 14GB data for 28 days.
Focus on safety
The biggest highlight of the Jio Bharat B2 is its Safety Shield feature. Once linked to a user’s smartphone via the Jio Companion app, the phone allows real-time tracking of the user’s location, battery status, and network connectivity. Parents or guardians can also remotely block suspicious numbers, ensuring extra protection for elderly family members or children.
Jio says the feature is especially effective in preventing phone-based scams targeting senior citizens, providing families with peace of mind.
The company added that this innovation represents Jio’s continued commitment to making technology not only affordable but also reliable and safe for every household in India.
