Hitachi 2026 Cooling and Heating AC Range Launched in India with Smart Features and Long Warranty

New air conditioner lineup focuses on energy efficiency smart controls and durable performance designed to meet changing consumer needs across Indian homes with improved cooling technology and extended support plans

The home cooling segment in India has received a fresh upgrade as Hitachi Cooling and Heating introduces its 2026 air conditioner range. Designed to address evolving climate demands and consumer expectations, the new lineup focuses on smarter cooling, better energy efficiency, and long term reliability for Indian households.

Interestingly, the launch is not just about new products but also about strengthening service and training infrastructure. A new engineering excellence center has been set up in Kolkata to improve customer support, technician training, and service quality across the eastern region. This move reflects the company’s long term commitment to improving after sales experience.

Availability of the new AC range has already begun across India through authorized retail and distribution channels. Pricing varies depending on the series and configuration, allowing customers to choose models based on their cooling requirements and budget preferences.

The portfolio includes multiple series catering to different user needs. The SUMO series is designed for heavy duty cooling and is capable of delivering high performance even in large spaces. It offers strong cooling output suitable for extreme summer conditions, making it ideal for demanding environments.

For everyday household use, the Signature series brings both three star and five star inverter based models. These units are built to balance performance with energy savings, ensuring consistent cooling while keeping electricity consumption under control.

Adding to the lineup, the iZen and Yoshi series focus on smart and connected cooling solutions. These models come with app based control through Air Cloud Go, along with voice command support. Users can monitor energy usage and adjust settings remotely, offering greater convenience in daily operation.

One of the key highlights across the range is the hybrid convertible cooling mode, which allows the AC to adjust performance based on room conditions. Multiple sensors inside the units help optimize temperature and airflow automatically, improving both comfort and efficiency.

Durability has also been given importance, with Nano Tech anti corrosion coating applied to protect internal components from rust and wear. This ensures longer product life even in humid or challenging environments, which is especially relevant in many Indian regions.

In terms of design, the new split AC and cassette variants feature a slimmer and more modern appearance. Certain models also come with extended warranty coverage of up to five years, adding an extra layer of assurance for buyers looking for long term reliability.

With this launch, Hitachi aims to strengthen its position in the premium cooling segment while addressing practical needs such as energy saving, smart control, and durability. As temperatures continue to rise across the country, such advancements are likely to play an important role in shaping consumer choices in the coming months.
