boltt has restarted sales of its first smartphones in India, bringing the ACE 5G and EVO back to Flipkart from September 15. The second sale follows the first sales event on September 1, when the company said both models sold out within a few hours.
The two phones mark boltt entry into the smartphone market, with the ACE 5G positioned as the more advanced model and the EVO aimed at buyers looking for a lower priced option. Both devices share several features, including a large display and high capacity battery.
The boltt ACE 5G is available in three storage configurations. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage version is priced at Rs 12999, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB model costs Rs 13999. The top 8GB RAM and 128GB variant is priced at Rs 14999.
The boltt EVO is offered in two configurations. Its 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version costs Rs 9999, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB model is priced at Rs 10999. Additional savings may also be available through eligible bank offers, depending on the offer terms during the sale.
Both smartphones feature a 6.79 inch LCD HD Plus display with a resolution of 720 by 1640 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate, a 20 to 9 aspect ratio and brightness of up to 600 nits.
Battery capacity is another shared feature. The ACE 5G and EVO 4G both come with 6000mAh batteries and support 18W fast charging. The large battery is aimed at users who want longer usage between charging sessions.
The ACE 5G gets the UniSoC T8200 processor and is available with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded by up to 1TB using a microSD card.
The EVO 4G uses a UniSoC T7250 chipset and comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Like the ACE 5G, it supports microSD expansion up to 1TB.
Both models run on Android 16, giving the phones access to the latest Android software mentioned in the supplied specifications.
Camera hardware is one area where the two smartphones take different approaches. The ACE 5G features a 64MP primary rear camera with an f1.8 aperture along with a secondary camera. The EVO 4G has a 50MP primary rear camera paired with a 2MP macro camera.
For selfies and video calls, both smartphones feature an 8MP front camera with an f2.0 aperture. The camera setup is therefore fairly straightforward, with the ACE 5G offering the higher resolution primary sensor on the rear.
The phones have the same listed dimensions, measuring 170mm in length, 77.71mm in width and 8.5mm in thickness. Each device weighs 233 grams.
Connectivity options include 5G on the ACE model, 4G LTE support, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and a USB Type C port. The exact connectivity features can vary between the two models based on network support and configuration.
