5G service to start in India from October1: Prime Minister Modi launched

The question of when the long-awaited 5G will start in India has now been answered. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch 5G services in India at the India Mobile Congress program to be held on October 1. Initially, 5G service will be available only in select metro cities. According to sources, 5G is starting in 13 cities of the country in the first phase. The first phase of 5G service will start in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Pune. Asia’s largest telecom, media and technology forum India Mobile Congress (IMC), Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) jointly organized the event which will see the launch of 5G.

Also experts said that 5G technology will benefit India a lot. This is likely to benefit the Indian economy by ₹ 36.4 trillion ($455 billion) between 2023 and 2040, according to a recent report by a global industry body representing mobile network operators.

6G in India by 2030:

The 6G service has also been announced while preparations are underway for the 5G launch. Speaking at the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon 2022 recently, Prime Minister Modi said that 6G service will be launched by 2030. The development of technologies in the country is happening very fast. Drones are already being used in agriculture and healthcare. He said that we are supporting the youth group with the development of gaming and technologies in the country.
