Siddaramaiah govt cancel Praveen Nettaru wife’s appointment

The Siddaramaiah government has cancelled the appointment of Dakshina Kannada BJP leader Praveen Nettar’s wife, who was temporarily appointed to a government job during the BJP government.

The previous Bommai government had appointed on September 22 to the post of Group C on contract basis. After this background, she was working in the Natural Disaster Department of the Dakshina Kannada District Administration Office.

But now the new Congress government has cancelled the appointment of BJP worker Praveen Nettar’s wife. The murder case of BJP worker Praveen Nettar caused huge outrage in the state, after which Praveen’s wife was demanded to be given a job.

He was temporarily appointed in the Natural Disaster Department of the Dakshina Kannada District Administration Office. On July 26, 2022, a Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha (BJYM) worker Praveen Nettaru was hacked to death by unidentified assailants.

Late evening, the killers came on a bike to Bellari, Dakshina Kannada of Karnataka, and attacked Nettaru with sharp weapons. Praveen Nettaru, who ran a poultry business, was returning home when the attack happened. The assailants escaped after the attack.

The Hindu leader was rushed to the hospital, but he could not be saved. The NIA, on January 20 last year,submitted a charge sheet against 20 accused in connection with the murder of Praveen Nettaru to the NIA special court in Bengaluru.

In the charge sheet, the NIA informed that the PFI, as part of its agenda to create terror, communal hatred and unrest in the society and to establish Islamic Rule by 2047, formed secret teams called Service Teams or Killer Squads to carry out killings of its “perceived enemies” and targets.
