Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today held a meeting to review the progress of the Department of Transport and gave good news to the department on the background of the huge response and public appreciation for the Shakti Yojana across the state.

The target is to purchase new 5675 buses, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has instructed to take action in this regard soon. 15 percent increase in the number of passengers in the Road Transport Corporation.
