Praveen Nettaru wife reappointed to Group-C post: CM Siddaramaiah
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced that BJP activist Praveen Nettaru wife will be reappointed to Group C post. CM Siddaramaiah tweeted about this on Saturday and said that it is a natural process to fire the temporary employees who were appointed by the previous government from the government service after the coming of the new government.
Not only Praveen Nettaru’s wife, more than 150 contract workers have already been dismissed from service. There is no government interference in this. Considering this as a special case, he said that the Nuthan Kumari will be re-appointed on the basis of humanity.
Likewise, Praveen Nettaru’s wife was appointed to the post of Group-C when the BJP government was in power. After the Congress-led state government came into existence in the state, the contract and outsourced recruitment of the previous government was cancelled. Praveen Nettaru’s wife Nuthana kumari was removed from the contract post. BJP leaders expressed their outrage over this. CM Siddaramaiah said that he will re-appoint after this.
On July 26, 2022, a Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha (BJYM) worker Praveen Nettaru was hacked to death by unidentified assailants.
Late evening, the killers came on a bike to Bellari, Dakshina Kannada of Karnataka, and attacked Nettaru with sharp weapons. Praveen Nettaru, who ran a poultry business, was returning home when the attack happened. The assailants escaped after the attack.

The Hindu leader was rushed to the hospital, but he could not be saved. The NIA, on January 20 last year,submitted a charge sheet against 20 accused in connection with the murder of Praveen Nettaru to the NIA special court in Bengaluru.

In the charge sheet, the NIA informed that the PFI, as part of its agenda to create terror, communal hatred and unrest in the society and to establish Islamic Rule by 2047, formed secret teams called Service Teams or Killer Squads to carry out killings of its “perceived enemies” and targets.
