Udupi, Dakshina Kannada continued Weekend lockdown and night curfew: Revenue Minister R. Ashok

Revenue Minister R. Ashok said that Weekend Lockdown would be continued in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts in the wake of increasing coronavirus infection in Kerala.

Revenue Minister R Ashok said to media after the Covid Technical Committee meeting chaired by CM Basavaraj Bommai in the wake of increasing coronavirus infection. Covd in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts is not fully controlled.  coronavirus infection is on the rise in record numbers in Kerala.

Weakened Lockdown will be continued in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi district and Hassan and Kodagu districts. Night curfew will continue in these districts. He said stringent measures would be taken to control corona in the border districts. He said the rules would be made tougher in Dakshina Kannada district.
