Karnataka: Water supply stop for 2 days in this place from April 27

Mangaluru Municipal Corporation has issued a press release that there will be a difference in water supply to Mangaluru city for two days. Water supply will be suspended for 48 hours from 6 AM on April 27 to 6 AM on 29 April. Karnataka: Water supply stop for 2 days in this place from April 27.

While Mangaluru awaits for rains, water supply continues to hit hard as water levels in dams across MCC limits have doused. Meanwhile, the Mangalore City Corporation on Monday informed that it will cut water supply across the city from April 27 to April 29 for a period of 48 hours.

In a press note, The MCC wrote the water supply is being halted following repair works of 1200 mm diameter pipe at Rechaka plant in Thumbe. Alongside Rechaka, changing of header at LLPS-1 and other supplementary works will be undertaken during the period of 48 hrs.

Water supply to Mangalore city will be completely stopped for 48 hours from April 27, Thursday 6.00 am to 29-04-2023 Saturday morning till 6.00 am. According to an MCC statement, the water supply to the city will be completely stopped for 48 hours, from 6 am on April 27 to 6 am on April 29.

The technical works include the repair of a 1,200 mm diameter pipe at HLPS 2-80 MLD pumping station and the replacement of the header of LLPS-1 pump number-2, among other ancillary works. The MCC has urged the public to cooperate during the water supply disruption.
