BJP youth leader murder: A BJP youth leader, Praveen Nettaru was hacked to death with lethal weapons in taluk’s Bellare by an unidentified bike-borne duo on Tuesday, July 26 night. BJP youth leader Praveen Nettaru murder in sullia. Praveen was shutting down his poultry shop when he was brutally attacked.
He had just downed the shutter of his shop when he saw two persons on a KL registered motorbike charging towards him. He ran towards the neighbouring shop in a bid to escape but the duo struck his head with a long knife and fled the scene.
Praveen was found lying in a pool of blood and while being shifted to a private hospital he succumbed. The deceased was active in politics. The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained. It is said that he was involved in a matter in Kalanja’s Vishnunagar a few days ago.

It may be recalled that just a week ago, a Muslim youth was murdered in Bellare. A tense situatin prevailed in Bellare after the murder and the police had to resort to shutting down all shops, establishments and hotels in the area amid protests by people.
