Karnataka Weather Report: Heavy rainfall in 12 districts, Issued yellow alert

A yellow alert has been announced on September 29 in the coastal districts of state such as Udupi, Uttara Kannada and Dakshina Kannada districts.

The India Meteorological Department has announced Yellow Alert in many districts of North Inland and South Inland. Monsoon, which had given up for so long, is showing signs of recovery. Yellow alert has been announced in many districts of the state including the districts of North Karnataka.

A yellow alert has been announced on September 29 in the coastal districts of state such as Udupi, Uttara Kannada and Dakshina Kannada districts. Similarly, the Meteorological Department has announced Yellow Alert in many districts of North Inland and South Inland during the same period.

Yellow alert has been announced in Raichur, Gadag, Koppal, Bagalkot, Gadag, Belagavi districts on September 29 and 30. Besides, there is a possibility of good rainfall in Bellary, Chitradurga and Davangere districts on September 30.

The India Meteorological department has announced a yellow alert in these districts as there is going to be good rainfall. Belgavi, Dharwad, Gadag, Koppal, Bellary, Vijayanagar will also receive more rain, an estimated 90 mm to 150 mm. 90 mm to 250 mm rainfall is likely in Kalaburagi, Bidar.

Rainfall is expected in Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, western parts of Hassan, Kodagu in the hill country. An estimated 175 mm to 250 mm of rainfall is expected in these areas. From June 1 till today, the state has received a 19 percent rainfall deficit. 6 percent in the northern hinterland and 27 percent in the southern hinterland.

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that there is a possibility of thundershowers in Bengaluru today. It rained heavily in Silicon City yesterday too. It has been raining well in Silicon City for the past week. Similarly, there is an indication of heavy rain for 2 more days. It is raining especially in the evening.
