The karnataka government has given good news to the people of the coastal districts of the state and the state government is plans to distributes boiled rice (kucahalakki) to the coastal districts.

Karnataka government Minister Kota Srinivasa Poojary is holding a special meeting at Vidhana soudha today, in which many people including Food and Civil Supplies Department Officer, Food Corporation Vice President Kiran Kumar, Food Department MD Somanna are participating.

Coastal districts require 12 lakh quintals per annum. At least 18 lakh quintal of paddy is required for this. 2.5 lakh paddy will be produced in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts. Rest of the paddy will be purchased from Mysore, Mandya, Shimoga and Belgaum districts. The minister said that they are thinking of buying paddy from Kerala and Telangana states as well.

Good news for Karnataka government employees: online system for loan sanction

The State Government (Karnataka Government) has implemented a system of online settlement of all types of claim cases and loan sanction on life insurance policies of Government Employees. Through this, good news has been given to the government employees.

The Director of Karnataka Government Insurance Department has issued an official order in this regard and the department’s computerization work is in progress. The development of software to settle all types of claim cases has been completed. He also said that training has been given on the use of this software.
