Karnataka Elections 2023 is just one more day away. The South Western Railway has announced three special trains for those going to the towns for voting and informed that additional coaches will be fitted to the existing trains. A special train will run between Bengaluru and Belgavi. This train will run through Hubli. Now one train will run from Bengaluru to Bidar via Kalaburagi route. A special train will strat from Bengaluru (Yashwantpur) to Murudeshwar.

Apart from this, some trains have been equipped with additional coaches. Two additional coaches are being added to 12079/80 Bengaluru-Hubli Janshatabdhi Express, 17307/17308 Bagalkote, Mysuru, Basava Express and one coach each to 16593/94 Bengaluru Nanded via Raichur, Yadgiri train.

Train number 16595/96 running between Bengaluru-Karwar is also being fitted with an additional coach. Polling for 224 assembly constituencies of the state will be held in a single phase on May 10. The result will be announced on May 13.

On the occasion of assembly elections, private buses plying from Bengaluru to many districts of the state have increased their fares. The bus fare from Bengaluru to Mysuru is Rs 800 there was, now it has increased to 1800.

Similarly Mangaluru ticket price was Rs.950 now it increased to Rs 2200 now. Similarly, the fares of buses going to many towns have doubled. It is said that leaving a special train on this occasion will benefit many people.
