IMD Issued Heavy Rainfall Alert in these districts in Karnataka till January 10

Changes in the Arabian Sea have led to heavy rainfall in the state. The temperature has dropped for three to four days in various districts.

It is raining now in the midst of winter in the state of Karnataka including Hubli and Haveri, and from today (January 7) it will continue to Heavy rain in almost all the districts across the state for four days, according to the India Meteorological Department.

Changes in the Arabian Sea have led to heavy rainfall in the state. The temperature has dropped for three to four days in various districts. Heaviest rainfall is expected in southern interior and coastal districts. It will rain in 30 districts for four days from today to January 10.

In this, Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Bangalore City, Bangalore Rural, Chitradurga, Davangere, Bellary, Tumkur, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, Chamarajanagar, Vijayanagar, Mandya, Mysore, Ramanagara, Chikkaballapur, Kolar, Tumkur, Koduga are likely to receive maximum rainfall in this region.

There are Forecast for North Inland Districts Meanwhile, there will be frequent showers for four days in Belgavi, Bagalkote, Vijayapur, Dharwad, Haveri, Gadag and Koppal districts. India Meteorological department’s forecast report said that light rain may be recorded at times.

Earlier, the most cold weather was observed in the districts of North Karnataka. Vijayapur experienced a biting cold with the temperature dropping to 10 degrees Celsius. Right now, it is raining frequently in this part amid the cold weather. Maximum-Minimum Temperature Information Shirali, Kututa, Haveri, Hubli have received heavy rainfall in the last 24 hours.

At this time, the maximum temperature of the state was recorded at 34 degrees Celsius in Karwar. 33 degrees Celsius in Penambur, 32 degrees Celsius in Honnavara, 30 degrees Celsius in Shivamogga. Still Vijaypur recorded a minimum of 14 degrees Celsius, the IMD report said.
