Gruha Lakshmi Yojana: Apply for this scheme from home; Details

The Karnataka Congress government has given another good news to the women, to facilitate the submission of applications by the beneficiaries of the Gruha lakshmi Yojana. Gruha Lakshmi Yojana: Apply for this scheme from home.

Arrangements are being made to receive the applications at the doorsteps of the beneficiaries, said the Revenue Minister Krishnabaire Gowda. Speaking to reporters, he said that revenue department staff are being used for the implementation of Gruha Lakshmi scheme.

He said that 1.30 crore applications are expected to be submitted under the scheme and as the applications are to be received and disposed of within two months, arrangements are being made to receive the applications at the doorsteps of the beneficiaries.

More than 7000 Seva Sindhu Office, Bapuji Seva Kendra, Bengaluru One Centre, including 898 Nada Offices in the state, will be allowed to apply. He informed that the application will be accepted from June 15.

Minister of Women and Child Welfare Lakshmi Hebbalkar has said that even if the son pays the tax, the mother will get Rs 2,000. She said this while talking to reporters in the city. At the same time, she said that although the son pays tax, the mother is also a beneficiary of the Gruha Lakshmi scheme.

However, earlier she made a controversial statement after saying that not only her husband, but also her son is a tax payer and cannot be the beneficiary of the Gruha lakshmi Guarantee Scheme. Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar, who woke up to this, said that even though the son is paying tax and paying GST, we will give Rs 2000 to the mother every month.
