Minister of Women and Child Welfare Lakshmi Hebbalkar has announced that applications can be submitted online and offline from tomorrow (June 16) for the Grilakshmi Yojana. The scheme aims to uplift women and reduce their dependence on others, improving their overall well-being.

Through this program, women will have the opportunity to enhance their economic status and have a better quality of life. Through this scheme, eligible women will receive monthly financial assistance of Rs. 2,000, which will be directly transferred to their bank accounts using the DBT mode.

The Gruha Lakshmi Yojana is inclusive in its approach, extending its benefits to both Above Poverty Line (APL) and Below Poverty Line (BPL) families. The much-awaited Gruha Lakshmi Scheme for the year 2023 is scheduled to begin its implementation on 15th June 2023. T

This scheme aims to provide financial assistance to housewives, landless women, and agricultural workers, empowering them with a monthly instalment of Rs. 2,000 directly transferred to their bank accounts.
