Speaking in Dharwad, she said that we have already delivered money to 1.9 crore people. Another 5 to 6 lakh people have to be cleared. There is no dearth of funds for the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme. However, she said that there was a delay due to a technical problem.

15 lakh people had given bank account details without Aadhaar link. There is a delay in paying them. Some people’s accounts were not active. This is too late, Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar said that everything is getting cleared now.

There is no shortage of funds for any project. The chief minister has withdrawn the grant. We have not stopped development work either. But the previous government had hurriedly tendered. Technical issues have plagued millions of applicants since registration began in July. But many people are deprived due to lack of information.

There was no defect in the submission of the application but it was withheld without reason. Everything did not come to those who were determined. Aadhar should be linked with a bank account. Some have opened accounts in local banks or Nationalized banks three or four years ago and they have forgotten.

Later they opened an account in multiple banks and linked Aadhaar. But during the registration of Gruha Lakshmi Yojana, the customer does not know which bank account has been taken.

9.44 lakh women do not get money:

So far, 9,44,155 applicants have not received the money under the state government’s ambitious scheme Gruha Lakshmi Scheme. Out of which 3082 applicants died and were disqualified. Also, 1,59,356 applicants have a difference in Aadhaar and bank account name.

5,96,268 beneficiaries have not linked Aadhaar with their accounts. Name and address of 1,75,683 beneficiaries are different. Thus, due to various reasons, more than 9.44 lakh applicants did not get the benefit of Gruha Lakhmi Scheme.
