The Gruha Lakshmi Scheme has been successfully implemented and millions of house owners have been paid an installment of Rs 2,000 in the first month. Minister of Women and Child Development, and Disabled and Senior Citizens Empowerment in the Government of Karnataka Lakshmi Hebbalkar has assured that lakhs of people are still deprived of the scheme due to technical errors and that they will get the money.

Others, due to technical glitches, server issues, lack of KYC, have been deprived of the first installment of Gruha Lakshmi Scheme. They are venting their resentment against the government saying that everyone is getting it but we are not getting it.

Now the account owners who have successfully received the first installment are waiting for the second installment. There is no official statement from the government regarding this yet. But by the end of this month by September 30, the money of the second installment of the Gruha Lakhmi Scheme is likely to be credited into the account of Rs 2000. Earlier, the government had also said that the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme money would be credited to the account on the 26th of every month.

The first installment was released on August 30. Although more than 1 crore applications have been submitted for this scheme from the entire state, only 82 lakh people have been credited. Women and Child Welfare Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar has clarified that all those who have not received the money will be deposited within the month of September.
