Gruha Lakshmi Scheme application start: Know guidelines

The Siddaramaiah led Karnataka government has started the registration process for the Gruha Lakshmi scheme. Under this scheme, the state government will provide financial assistance of Rs 2,000 per month to the women head of the family. Gruha Lakshmi Scheme application start: Know guidelines.

This scheme is one of the five election promises made by the Congress in Karnataka. The Karnataka Cabinet had approved the scheme after the Congress-led government came to power. The registration was opened by Chief Minister Sidaramaiah at an event at Vidhana Soudha on Wednesday.

Karnataka Women and Child Welfare Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar on Saturday announced the beginning of registration for the Gruha Lakshmi scheme from July 19. Aadhaar card, ration card, mobile number is required for application registration and can be applied at Bangalore One, Grama One, Karnataka One, Bapuji Seva Kendras.

Women are likely to come in large numbers to Bangalore One centres from today. There is a possibility of crowding in the centres. At present there are 1.28 crore Gruha lakshmi beneficiaries, Aadhaar card must be linked to the bank account compulsorily. Acknowledgment of application submission is mandatory.

Guidelines for applying for Gruha Lakshmi Yojana:

BPL, APL or Antyodaya ration cards should have the name of the householder

Aadhaar card number is mandatory for application invitation

Mobile number is mandatory

Applicants can apply through Bangalore One or through the app

Mobile number should be linked with bank account

A householder or husband of a householder should not be a payer of income tax

Household owner and employer should not be GST returns. Some guidelines are likely to change.

Ration Card No

Xerox of Aadhar card of both husband and wife

Bank account pass book Xerox or other bank transfer is also available.

Aadhaar card linked mobile number.
