Heavy Rainfall Alert in Karnataka for next 4 days: Issued Yellow Alert

The India Meteorological Department has predicted that there is a possibility of heavy rains in many parts of the state including the coastal and hilly areas for the next four days. Heavy Rainfall Alert in Karnataka for next 4 days: Issued Yellow Alert.

Coastal and hilly areas are experiencing heavy rains, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada districts and hilly districts like Chikmagalur, Shivamogga, Hassan districts, and yellow alert has been announced in these districts.

A Yellow Alert has been issued in Bengaluru City, Bengaluru Rural, Chikkaballapur, Davangere, Chitradurga, Tumkur, Belagavi, Bidar, Kalaburagi, Bagalkote, Haveri, Gadag districts.

Heavy Rainfall alert on July 20 Widespread rains and isolated thunderstorms may occur over Northeast India, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Very heavy to extremely heavy downpours is possible at isolated places over Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Telangana and the adjoining regions. Heavy rainfall is on the cards over some places in Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. Isolated to scattered showers accompanied by lightning may pelt Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Lakshadweep.

On Friday (July 21) Widespread rains and isolated thunderstorms are likely over Northeast India, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Punjab, Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Heavy rainfall is expected over some places in Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Telangana, East Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan, and Goa. Isolated to scattered rain with a chance of lightning is likely over Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, and Lakshadweep.
