An instruction has been given to update e-KYC to get the facility of Gruha Lakshmi Scheme, an ambitious scheme of the Government of Karnataka. Under the scheme, the women identified as ‘housewives’ with ration cards are being deposited into the Aadhaar linked bank account from August 2023 through DBT Rs. 2000.

First you go to play store and download DBT Karnataka app
As soon as you open this app, you will be asked for some permissions, you have to click allow.
Aadhaar card entry of whose status you are checking The OTP will go to the mobile number linked to their Aadhaar card Enter that OTP.

When asked to create an MPIN, you select and enter the four numbers as the security code and confirm by entering it again.
For which beneficiary you are checking details, their Aadhaar card details will appear on the screen. Then follow the next instructions and enter the mobile number and give OK.

Then there will be an option called Payment Status, if you click on it you will get the complete details of which government schemes the money has been transferred through DBT.
