The Siddaramaiah-led government is going to bring the government schemes closer to the people of the state. It is said that the government is ready to provide free medicine and treatment at the doorstep through this scheme. The Health Department is thinking to implementing the home health scheme under the National Health Campaign, and a proposal has already been submitted to the government regarding the scheme, and if the cabinet approves it, it will be implemented soon.

The Health Department has come forward to implement the Home Health Scheme to provide healthcare services at everyone’s doorstep. In this scheme, it is intended to conduct all types of health check-up including heart, kidney, cancer, BP, diabetes, ECG and provide medicines as required for selected problems free of cost on the spot.
