The State Government (Karnataka Government) has implemented a system of online settlement of all types of claim cases and loan sanction on life insurance policies of Government Employees. The Director of Karnataka Government Insurance Department has issued an official order in this regard and the department’s computerization work is in progress. The development of software to settle all types of claim cases has been completed. He also said that training has been given on the use of this software.
Further, loan sanction on life insurance policies and mandatory online settlement of all types of claim cases have been implemented for testing in Bangalore city, Belagavi, Kodagu, Dharwad, Mysore, Yadagiri and Chikmagalur districts.

In this background, henceforth loan sanctioning and settlement of all types of cases in life insurance offices will be made mandatory online. It has been suggested to compulsorily stop the work of settling the cases through offline.
