Ahead of the meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will hold a Covid emergency meeting to review the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the state on Monday at 12.30 pm. The meeting will be held at the Chief Minister’s home office, Krishna.

Bommai will meet ministers of his Cabinet, Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) chairman Sudarshan and other TAC members. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday said that the state government will bring guidelines after the video conference of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with chief ministers regarding COVID-19 on April 27.

Amid apprehensions of the Covid fourth wave pandemic, Prime Minister Modi is set to hold a video conference with the Chief Ministers of the states on April 27 to discuss the precautions to tackle it, Bommai informed. Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai said that state government would release the guidelines later.

Speaking to media representatives at the airport here on Sunday, CM Bommai said Covid management will take clear precautions based on past experiences. The advice of scientists and experts will also be sought. After April 27 will prepare covid guidelines.
