Scholarship for Scheduled Caste students: Apply date extended till March 15

Bengaluru: The Scheduled Caste Welfare Department has extended the date of online submission of applications for incentives to Scheduled Tribe students who have passed in the first attempt in 2022-23 in the first attempt till March 15, 2023. Eligible students can apply through departmental website www.tw.kar.nic.in. Scholarship for Scheduled Caste students: Apply date extended till March 15.

Details of Courses: Incentive Amount Rs. (per student) Second Class/3rd Diploma Polytechnic-20,000/-, Graduation-25,000/-, Post Graduate -MA., MSc, M.Com, MBA, MCA,, MPA., Others 30,000/, Agriculture/Engineering/Medicine/ Veterinary-35,000/- will be given.

Students who have attended PUC and subsequent courses must submit the application online and submit the submitted application with the attested documents to the District Scheduled Classes Welfare Officer, Bangalore Rural District, Room No: 205, 2nd Floor, Zilladalitha Bhawan, Birasandra Village, Devanahalli Taluk Office.

Required documents to apply:

SSLC mark sheet copy, caste and income certificate, Aadhaar card, previous class certificate/marks, personal bank account details of current students and passport size photograph.

To apply PUC/Graduate/Post Graduate students should apply within the prescribed period. Mr. Thyagaraju, Bengaluru Rural District Scheduled Castes Welfare Officer, said in a release that one can contact the phone number: 080-29787448 for more information.
