Today, the running of BMTC and KSRTC buses has been banned on West Of Chord Road and Dr Rajkumar Road in the city. Buses should go to Majestic via Yesvanthpur Flyover – Circle Maramma Right Turn – Margosa Road – KC General Hospital – Seshadripuram.
Buses bound for Vijayanagar on West Off Chord Road via orion mall- take right turn at Rajajinagar 10 Cross Road, take left at Rajajinagar First Block and proceed towards Magadi Road Vijayanagar. Passengers going to distant towns who have to travel by transport buses should take a bus directly from Yeswantpur or Majestic station.
There will be metro traffic as usual and people can use this service instead of buses. In the background of the festival, the road in front of the ISKCON temple may cause heavy traffic. So, traveler it is better to use alternative routes. Krishna’s Janmashtami festival is celebrated on Ashtami Tithi and Rohini Nakshatra. The festival starts today at 3:37 PM.
The festival will be held for three days.Shrikrishna Janmashtamiyan is celebrated on the midnight of 6th September. But Vaishnavas will celebrate this festival on September 7. Ashtami Tithi starts on September 6 at 7:57 AM while Rohini Nakshatra starts at 2:39 PM.
