Bengaluru Water Supply: No water supply in these areas tomorrow

As Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has undertaken repair work at Ambedkar College on Kengeri Outer Road, on July 13 (Thursday) two pumps of Stage 4 Phase 1 will be shut down immediately from 8 am to 4 pm. Bengaluru Water Supply: No water supply in these areas tomorrow.

As a precautionary measure in a media release, the water board has informed about the storage. Due to the repair of two pumps of Stage 4 Phase 1, water supply will be interrupted throughout the day, so public is advised to store as much water as required today.

Rajarajeswarinagar, Kengeri, Vijayanagar, Govindarajanagar, Laggere, Kamakshipalaya, Peenya, Dasarahalli, Jalahalli, Yalahanka, Hebbala, Mahalakshmi Layout, Basaveshwaranagar, Nandini Layout and surrounding areas will be suspended.

Therefore, the Bengaluru water board has informed in a release that the public should make other arrangements for water tomorrow or collect as much water as required today.

A Water Adalat has been organized on Thursday, July 13 from 9.30 am to 11 am to resolve issues related to water bill, delay in connection of water and sewerage, delay in conversion from domestic use to non-domestic use and other major shortages in sub-divisions of water board.

Complaints can be made by calling the board’s helpline 1916 regarding any problem. In addition, a complaint can be submitted through WhatsApp number 87622 28888.
