Team India captain Rohit Sharma was injured in the 2nd ODI in Dhaka. The hitman, who injured his thumb while fielding, has now returned to India for treatment. He is also unavailable for the third ODI against Bangladesh.It is doubtful that Rohit Sharma, who was ruled out of the last ODI, will appear in the Test series as well. Therefore, it is reported that young player Abhimanyu Iswaran will get a place in the Test team instead of Hitman.
India-A captain Abhimanyu Easwaran is currently in Bangladesh. Team India-A is playing a Test series against Bangladesh-A. Ishwan Bharjari, who is leading this team, has brilliantly scored centuries.So instead of Rohit Sharma, Abhimanyu Easwaran will be called to the team. Inside Sports reported that a BCCI official said that Ishwan will join Team India after the Test series against Bangladesh-A team.
Umran Malik or Mukesh Kumar are likely to replace Mohammad Shami, who is out of the series against Bangladesh. Also, there is a possibility that Ravindra Jadeja will be out of the Test series and Saurabh Kumar in the India-A team may get a chance as a replacement player.India-Bangladesh Test series will start from December 14.
