The ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final is scheduled to take place at The Oval in London from June 7 this year. The summit clash will take place as a five-day Test match between June 7 and June 11. WTC Final 2023: If final match draw, which team win the title.

India and Australia, who are presently ranked first and second in the ICC Test Teams Rankings, respectively, will face off in the match. Australia managed to finish first in the standings leading up to the World Test Championship final with 66.67 per cent and 152 points.

With a PCT of 66.67, Australia stole the top spot in World Test Championship points table and became the first team to book a berth in the WTC final. Talking Team India, they played a total of 18 Tests during ICC World Test Championship 2021-23. They bagged victories in 10 games and lost 5.

There were 3 matches that ended in a draw. With a PCT of 58.80, India bagged the 2nd spot in the points table. Australia tops the WTC 2021-23 points table. In case the match is drawn, the award will not be awarded to the Australian team with the most points. According to ICC rules, if the World Test Championship final ends in a draw, both the teams will be declared joint winners of the World Test Championship.

In case the final is interrupted by rain, like last year’s edition, a reserve day is kept to compensate for the rain. But there is a rule for this too. The playing time of each Test is 30 hours. That means six hours a day or 90 overs a day. A reserve day comes into effect only if the stipulated six hours are not met or the full quota of 90 overs per day is not completed.
